此篇作文是在 2006 年我院英语作文大 赛中 , 评 选出来的优秀作文。本文作者仲威是 05 级汽车电子专业学生，仲威同学大胆地以科学幻想的手法展现了未来生活的空间——月球的一天（ Moon Daily ）。该学生更好地和充分地运用了所学英语知识，同时也锻炼和提高了其英语写作能力。以下是作文原文。

Moon Daily

    One day in 2050 A .D, I drived to the No.15 City of the moon. Before going into the blue hills, I stopped for a gasoline.

   “Kind of alone out here, aren't you, Pop?” I said.

    The old man wiped off the windshield of the car. “Not bad.”

    “How do you like moon life, Pop?”

    “Fine, there is always something new.”

    “Do you remember that earthquake?”

    “Yes, I do. Forty-four years ago there was a horrible earthquake, it turned the iceberg into water on the moon which formed the aerosphere, air and water.”

    “It was a real miracle in this world, then human began to settle in this celestial body. ”

    “Yes, it was amazing. I hope here are quite different from the old earth.”

    “See you. Oh, you forget to pay. You should owe me eighteen moon dollars and seventy cents.”

    “OK. There are twenty moon dollars.”

    “Here is the change.”

    “See you!”

   “Have a good trip.”

    I returned to the highway to the No.15 City. While I was looking ahead I didn't know how much time past. I was staying in a very strange canyon without gravitation. My car was flying in the sky. Only my life will finished, followed a flying girl in rocket bag coming here. She used her rocket bag made the car to fly away from dangerous place. I looked down at the canyon which was full of wreckage of cars.

   When we landed on a safe place, I was very glad to meet her. She told me that her name was Ada , the place was called Dead Canyon , so it was very dangerous there. I invited her to go to the No.15 City with me where I thought she could give me a hand again.

   Ada agreed with my plan, she said: “I want to go there too.”

   I was very happy, so we returned to the highway and started a talk.

　“Why do you stay there and where are your parents? ”

  “I'm a soldier in the Delta Force, serial number 1841287; our aero transport was exploded by some weapons. I didn't see anybody. My GPRS was broken, so I couldn't reach the place but only had to stay there waiting for help.” She said.

   “Fortunately I met you. You saved me. I think this must be a very wonderful story which tells a beauty save a hero. ” I said with a smile.

   We were both laughing all the way.

   Night fell. It was dead dark. Stars were dotted in the black sky where now there was no sound, no car, no person, in a word, nothing. And it remained that way all the rest of cool dark night.
